Prime Law B.V. ("PL" or "we") respects your privacy and processes personal data in its capacity as data controller in accordance with the European General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR"). This privacy policy was last updated on 5 March 2026. We reserve the right to amend or supplement this privacy policy unilaterally by adjusting this document.

Personal data

  1. All information relating to an identified or identifiable person is personal data. Among other things, we may process the following personal data:
    1. Basic details such as your first and last name, any prefix and title;
    2. Contact details such as your email address, postal address and telephone number;
    3. Data concerning the device you use to visit our website, such as an IP address;
    4. Data concerning your visit to our website;
    5. Personal data you provide to us in connection with attending events or meetings, such as accessibility and dietary requirements and preferences;
    6. Personal data you provide to us for the purpose of a job application, such as your first and last name, date of birth, address, telephone number, nationality, marital status and all other personal data stated in your application;
    7. All other personal data relating to you that you provide to us or that we may obtain in connection with the purposes and on the legal bases set out below.
  2. We collect this personal data because you have provided it to us. For example, you provide data when entering into an agreement with us, by completing your details on our website, by giving us your business card, or by applying for a job. We may also obtain your personal data from other sources, such as a local lawyer, opposing parties, the trade register, the land registry or by using public sources.

Purposes and legal bases for processing personal data

  1. We may use your personal data for the following purposes:
    1. To provide our legal services;
    2. To comply with our legal and statutory obligations;
    3. For marketing and business development activities;
    4. To handle your job application or registration for one of our recruitment services and events;
    5. To generate statistics regarding the use of the website and/or to analyse and improve the website.
  2. We process your personal data on the basis of one or more of the following legal grounds:
    1. The performance of an agreement;
    2. Compliance with a legal obligation;
    3. Legitimate interest;
    4. Your consent.

Retention period

  1. We do not retain your personal data for longer than is necessary to achieve the purposes set out in this privacy policy or to comply with laws and regulations.

Sharing with others

  1. In certain cases we may also share personal data with third parties, including but not limited to:
    1. Third parties relevant to the legal services we provide, such as opposing parties, local lawyers, courts, regulatory authorities and government bodies.
    2. Third parties, such as supervisory authorities and other bodies, in order to comply with legal obligations.
    3. External suppliers in connection with the processing of your personal data for the purposes described in this privacy policy, such as IT suppliers, providers of communication services or other suppliers to whom we outsource certain support services.
  2. Third parties to whom we provide your personal data are themselves responsible for compliance with privacy legislation. PL is not responsible or liable for the processing of your personal data by these third parties. Insofar as a third party processes your personal data in the capacity of a processor for PL, PL concludes a processing agreement with such third party that meets the requirements set out in the GDPR.
  3. In order to provide our services it may be necessary for us to transfer your personal data to a recipient in a country outside the European Economic Area. In that case PL will ensure that any such transfer of data complies with the applicable laws and regulations.

Security

  1. PL has taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to secure your personal data against unauthorised or unlawful processing and against loss, destruction, damage, alteration or disclosure. Your rights

  1. As a data subject you have a number of rights:
    1. The right of access. This means you may submit a request to obtain access to the personal data we have collected about you. In this respect, please note that circumstances may arise in which we are entitled, for example on grounds of professional privilege, not to comply with your request to provide copies of personal data;
    2. The right to rectification or correction of your data if it is inaccurate or incomplete;
    3. The right to erasure of your personal data. In this respect, please note that circumstances may arise in which we are obliged to retain your data in order to comply with our legal and statutory obligations;
    4. The right to object to, or to request restriction of, the processing of your personal data. Circumstances may arise in which we are legally entitled not to comply with your request;
    5. The right to data portability. This means you have the right to receive your data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable form. You also have the right to transfer this data to another controller;
    6. The right to object to the processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes (Article 21 GDPR);
    7. The right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (www.autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl);
    8. The right to withdraw consent given. Circumstances may arise in which we are entitled to continue processing your data, in particular where such processing is required to comply with our legal and statutory obligations.

Cookies

  1. PL uses cookies on its website. A cookie is a small text file stored on your computer by a web browser. On your first visit you are asked, via a cookie banner, for consent to place analytical cookies. No cookies are placed without your consent. You can review your choice at any time by deleting your browser cookies. You can also block the use of cookies by adjusting the settings in your web browser.
  2. The website does not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies. The website uses only analytical cookies from Google Analytics (GA4). These cookies are placed only after you have given consent via the cookie banner. They are the following cookies:
    • _ga: placed by Google Analytics to distinguish between website visitors. Retention period: 2 years.
    • _ga_QZV2SP0QSX: placed by Google Analytics to maintain the session state. Retention period: 2 years.

    GA4 does not store full IP addresses; IP addresses are not logged or stored by Google.
